JUTE 2015

Standards for Authors

1.       General standards for contributions 

 Contributions must fulfill the following criteria:
<ul>
 <li>
 Original. All contributions presented at JUTE 2015 must be original work. They must not have been sent to other conferences or published in other formats.</li>
 <li>
 Proposals must be sent during the established time frame. No proposals will be accepted after the established due date.</li>
 <li>
 Attendance at the conference. We hope that at least one of the participants with accepted contributions attends the course.</li>
 <li>
 Authors cannot present more than two contributions to the conference</li>
 <li>
 Proposals should be the format of an extended abstract which can be presented in both Spanish and Portuguese.</li>
</ul>

            

 2.       Topic Panels

 The proposals will be grouped in topic panels and in each there will be two coordinators of the content. All contributions will be available to participants from the beginning of the course.

 The topic panels are:
<ol>

 Identity and professional scholar development</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 36pt;">
 Educational Research</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 36pt;">
 University teaching</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 36pt;">
 Teaching Innovation</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 36pt;">
 Design and development of curriculum</li>
</ol>

  

 3.     Format of the extended abstract

 Contributions will be sent in the format of an extended abstract. The abstract should have between 4000 and 7000 words. They should include the following information:
<ul>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 A brief abstract between 150 and 200 words</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 Key words (between 3 and 5)</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 Introduction/justification</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 Aims/ hypothesis</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 Design of the investigation/method/intervention</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 Results</li>
 <li style="margin-left: 15pt;">
 Conclusions/final considerations      </li>
</ul>

 4.       Sending of proposals

 Proposals sent through email, mail, fax or other means will not be accepted, only proposals sent through the previous platform will be accepted.

 Once the file with the proposal has been sent, you will receive a confirmation via email.

  

 5.       Acceptance of the extended abstract

 The process for the selection of the proposals will be decided through an open application and then revised by peers.

 An email will be sent with the acceptance or refusal of the contribution within five business days.

 6.       Deadlines

 Contributions can be sent (máximum 7000 words) from February 1 until May 30th 2015

 Acceptance/rejection of the proposal will be within five business days from when it’s received

  

 7. Publication of the Contributions

 Accepted contributions for presentation will be published in the proceedings of the conference in electronic format.

 Some of the most interesting abstracts that comply with the scientific requirements will be published in the next edition of RELATEC.
